Charmae Shields Natseway made the unusual ceramic box with the black and white geometric design along the sides and the three polychrome katsina faces on the top.   It has a cloud motif stopper.   The size: 3.2 inches square and 1.25 inches high, with the stopper adding another 1.25 inches.   $495.

Navajo pottery continues to evolve as an art form.   We recently acquired a number of pieces by Alice Cling and other fine Navajo potters, but this one really caught my eye.   It is by Samuel Manymules and employs a micaceous clay, but still using traditional Navajo pottery-making and firing techniques.   A cloud symbol has been notched into the rim.   8.25 inches high.   $975.

This is Rose Williams, an active Navajo potter and Matriarch of a group of potters in Cow Springs, Arizona.

Two traditional cooking pots by Rose Williams, one is just over 8 inches high and the other 9.5 inches.   $165 and $185
